We provide services to over 6000 people in over 3,300 homes and work closely with our care and support charity, Trident Reach to deliver housing services to some of the most vulnerable people across the housing spectrum.
We provide tenancy support through Tenancy Management Officers (TMO) and Intensive Housing Management Officers (IHMO) who work with residents, in both general needs properties and supported housing, to ensure their tenancies are sustained. Both TMO’s and IHMO’s support residents to meet the requirements of their tenancy agreement.
This is achieved by working together with a resident to effectively manage their tenancy by:
- Providing advice on all aspects of sustaining a successful tenancy
- Providing practical housing assistance and information to customers when entering the service and throughout their involvement with the service
- Signposting to and facilitating support offered by other services e.g. help with finances and budgets, help from other voluntary agencies
- Monitoring and meeting relevant health and safety standards in properties
Officers work to build relationships with residents and stay in regular contact with them throughout through home visits, telephone, email, text and/or letter.
